Congratulations and celebration are the order of the day for the Bella Rally Team
Bella Rally Car

Although finishing second in the final meeting of the season, Glenn Allen and Damien Connolly secured the Pace notes Northern Ireland Rally Championship in the Bella by BA Toyota Corolla.

Their major opposition for the title came in the form of Stephen Moore and Tony McHugh, but the Ford Focus WRC pilot ended his event in a Ballypatrick ditch. Moore needed to win the rally to lift the title, and was chasing Sean Devine for the rally lead when the incident happened.

With Moore out of the event, Glen was immediately guaranteed the title, and finishing second overall also sealed the co-drivers' title for Damien Connolly.

It has been an eventful and exciting season for the Bella Rally Team with 3 wins, 3 second place finishes, a fourth place, a seventh place and due to severe car damage, twice being unable to start.

Well done to Glen and Damien for our most successful rally season ever!

BA launches new Gothic design
The new Gothic design

The latest new design to be released in the Bella range from BA Components, the leading 'made to measure' vinyl wrapped door and component manufacturer was produced to coincide with the publication of their recently launched Trade price list & Product information guide.

The Gothic door which can be found on page thirteen of the guide was created after numerous customer requests for a door of this type.

Looking equally well in both kitchen and bedroom settings the door is already selling well throughout the BA market area.

Sales & Marketing Manager, David Caulfield said, "These doors have plenty of glamour and look fantastic. They offer the individual look demanded by consumers who want to express a strong sense of personal style."

Cookstown kitchen components company cooks up a prosperous future

BA Components is investing £3 million in an Invest NI backed expansion programme which aims to increase the firm's turnover by over 60% in three years, and secure jobs for 30 new employees.

Invest NI has offered £85,500 towards the project, which will focus on developing ways to improve marketing, customer care, human resources and quality control which ultimately impact positively on turnover.

Never a company to 'rest on their laurels' and proud of their reputation to lead rather than follow in the market, BA are pleased to be launching this new stage of Development.

MD Brian McCracken hopes the next ambitious stage of expansion will help BA build on an already strong position in the Irish and UK markets.
"We've seen phenomenal growth over the last few years," he says, "Our turnover is showing double digit growth year on year for each of the last five, and with Invest NI's assistance we have recruited a team of experienced and highly motivated managers with the aim of sustaining and building on that growth by further expanding our premises and product range."

BA Components have a clear strategy and achievable expansion programme in place for the next 3 to 5 years, allowing both MD Brian and Production Director Kieran McCracken to focus on the strategic direction of the company, confident in their senior management's ability to handle day to day operations.

Kevin McCann, Invest NI's Director of Transport, Construction and Tourism, said: "BA Components has achieved a step change in its management team and now takes an even more proactive approach to its entire operation. By increasing their customer base and export business, the company will continue to add significant value to the Northern Ireland economy."
